71R8451 Red Dot Gold Bulbless Block-Type Expansion Valve – 8.5°F Superheat

The Red Dot 71R8451 Gold Bulbless Block-Type Expansion Valve is designed for heavy-duty mobile HVAC systems requiring stable refrigerant control without an external sensing bulb. Bulbless block TXVs regulate internally, reducing components and improving durability in high-vibration on-highway environments.

This model is engineered specifically for Freightliner C112, C120, Century, Columbia, and Coronado platforms. It features Stat-O-Seal fittings on both hose and evaporator connections, an 8.5°F superheat rating, and a 53.5 psig pressure limit at 90°F. The gold-finish housing helps identify this premium configuration during service and replacement.
