71R8100 Red Dot External Equalizer Expansion Valve – 13 in. Capillary, 1½ Ton

The Red Dot 71R8100 External Equalizer Expansion Valve is designed for mobile air conditioning systems that require accurate refrigerant metering under variable load conditions. Externally equalized expansion valves sense pressure at the evaporator outlet through a dedicated equalizer line, allowing the valve to maintain proper superheat when pressure drop across the evaporator is present.

This valve features 13-inch equalizer and capillary tubes, male O-ring inlet and outlet connections, and a 1½ ton capacity rating, making it a common OE-style replacement across on-highway, agricultural, construction, and off-highway HVAC applications.
