Cold starts accelerate engine wear and strain emissions systems. The Eberspächer Hydronic HS3 CS D6L solves this by preheating engine coolant before startup. As a result, engines start easier, warm faster, and operate more efficiently in cold conditions.
This 24V diesel coolant heater provides up to 5.6 kW (approximately 17,100 BTU) of heating output. Because it heats the coolant directly, warmth is distributed through the engine block and vehicle HVAC system rather than relying on engine operation.
The CS (Commercial Series) configuration supports advanced control and diagnostic capabilities, making it well suited for fleet and professional applications. In addition, this installation kit includes the core components required for proper mounting, fuel delivery, coolant circulation, and exhaust routing.
By reducing extended idling and cold-start emissions, the Hydronic HS3 also helps support longer DOC and DPF service intervals.
