Description
The BTRAC 74R2616 Inline Receiver Drier protects mobile air conditioning systems by removing moisture and debris from the refrigerant circuit. As a result, it helps prevent corrosion, supports steady cooling, and extends compressor life in demanding operating conditions.
This receiver drier uses an inline configuration with #6 male O-ring fittings, which allows easy integration into common mobile A/C hose layouts. In addition, the unit includes two Schrader service ports, which provide flexible access for evacuation, charging, and system diagnostics. Because of this, technicians can service the system efficiently without rerouting hoses.
The cylindrical body measures 3 inches in diameter and 8-1/4 inches in overall length. Therefore, it offers strong desiccant capacity while still fitting well in many engine compartments. At the same time, the dual-port layout supports faster service during routine maintenance or troubleshooting.
Based on confirmed OEM references shown on the image and validated interchange usage, this receiver drier is commonly used on Peterbilt® truck platforms. Because these vehicles operate under long duty cycles, the 74R2616 delivers reliable moisture control and consistent A/C performance.
