The Sy-Klone RAPM3100 RESPA Advisor Pressure Monitor is designed to provide continuous, real-time monitoring of cab pressure in enclosed operator cabins. Used with RESPA fresh-air and recirculation systems, this monitor helps operators and service teams quickly identify when cab pressure falls below the selected alarm threshold so filters, seals, or system components can be checked before cab air quality is compromised.

The RAPM3100 features a numeric display that shows live cab pressure readings and includes both a visual LED alarm and an optional audible low-pressure alarm. The alarm activates when cab pressure stays below the preset minimum threshold for more than 10 seconds, helping avoid nuisance alerts during normal door opening and closing. A built-in silence alarm button allows the audible signal to be muted when needed, while the indicator light remains active until pressure returns to normal.

This monitor is compatible with both 12V and 24V systems and can be connected to any switched DC power source from 9V to 36VDC. It also includes a 0 to 5 volt low-voltage output signal for sending real-time pressure information to an onboard computer or telematics system. Because it is a differential pressure-measuring device, it uses a supplied external air line routed to a protected location outside the cab for accurate pressure monitoring.

The RAPM3100 is a strong fit for mining, construction, forestry, waste handling, agricultural, and industrial equipment where maintaining positive cab pressure is important for operator comfort, contaminant control, and air-quality best practices.

Applications & Fitment

The Sy-Klone RAPM3100 is designed for enclosed operator cabins where positive-pressure monitoring is needed. Typical applications include:

  • Mining equipment

  • Construction machinery

  • Forestry machines

  • Waste-handling and landfill equipment

  • Agricultural tractors and harvesters

  • Industrial and off-road utility vehicles

This monitor is used with cabs equipped with RESPA fresh-air systems, RESPA recirculation systems, or both. Final fitment should be confirmed by system type, available mounting location, pressure line routing, and vehicle power supply.

Installation Notes

The RAPM3100 mounts inside the operator cab in a visible location. It connects to switched vehicle power and uses a supplied 3/16-inch nylon air line routed to a protected area outside the cab. The pressure monitor can be mounted with screws or foam mounting tape depending on the installation.

For best performance:

  • Use a switched 9V to 36VDC power source

  • Protect the power lead with a 5A max fuse

  • Route the air line carefully to avoid kinks, clogs, or pinching

  • Place the outside end of the air line in a protected area where it will not be blocked by dirt or debris

  • Seal around the airline as needed after installation

Maintenance

Inspect the pressure monitor during routine service to confirm the air line, wiring, and fittings remain secure and undamaged. Check that the pressure line is not kinked, clogged, or pinched, as this can cause incorrect readings.

The unit can be manually reset and recalibrated when needed:

  • A manual reboot can be performed by holding the reset button for 6 seconds

  • A calibration procedure can be performed by disconnecting the nylon air tube and holding the reset button for 30 seconds until the display indicates calibration

For best results, calibration should be completed at initial installation and repeated as needed if drift occurs.
