Description

The BTRAC BT5-8112 A/C compressor is designed for farm and off-road HVAC systems that operate under heavy load and long duty cycles. It uses the proven SD7H15HD compressor platform, which supports high refrigerant flow and stable cooling in demanding conditions.

Because this compressor uses a direct-short mounting style, it installs cleanly into compatible brackets. In addition, the horizontal rear pad O-ring fittings—with Volvo offset orientation—support proper hose routing and reduce stress at the connections. As a result, installation is more consistent and long-term reliability improves.

The BT5-8112 operates on a 24-volt electrical system and uses an 8-groove serpentine clutch. Therefore, it delivers smooth belt engagement and steady power transfer during continuous operation.

This unit ships with a 240 cc factory oil charge and uses PAG 100 oil for R134a refrigerant systems. Furthermore, the long key shaft and clockwise rotation match common off-road drivetrain requirements.
