Overview

The BT5-4458 SD7H15HD-FLX7 compressor is engineered for 12V heavy-duty mobile HVAC systems that rely on traditional dual 1/2-inch V-belt drives. Because of its ear 8-long mounting design, the compressor provides improved stability in applications exposed to vibration and harsh operating conditions. At the same time, the 2-groove, 132 mm clutch supports consistent belt engagement across a wide range of OEM and aftermarket platforms.

Additionally, this unit uses a GV-style cylinder head with rear universal O-ring FLX-7 pad fittings, which allows for flexible hose routing in multi-fit installations. As a result, it integrates easily into both replacement and retrofit systems. Furthermore, clockwise rotation and a 1-wire Packard electrical interface with integrated diode protection ensure compatibility with standard heavy-duty compressor control circuits using R134a refrigerant.
