Description
Product Overview
The Sy-Klone VMAX0006 is a rugged powered engine precleaner built for equipment that faces extreme dust every day. It uses Sy-Klone’s vortex airflow system to spin incoming air and push debris out before it reaches the engine’s intake. As a result, the machine’s primary filter lasts longer and stays cleaner between service intervals.
This model runs on 24 volts and supports 300–600 CFM, so it works well on mid-sized and large diesel engines. Because the housing is compact, the precleaner fits machines with limited mounting space. It also installs in a vertical or horizontal position, which makes it flexible for different equipment layouts.
The VMAX0006 includes a heavy-debris screen that blocks large particles. This screen helps protect the unit in tough conditions such as mining, demolition, forestry, waste handling, and quarry work.

Applications & Fitment
The VMAX0006 works well on heavy-equipment that runs in harsh, dusty conditions. It suits machines in:
-
Mining
-
Construction
-
Forestry
-
Waste and landfill
-
Agriculture
-
Quarry and aggregate work
You can mount the Vortex MAX upstream of the factory air filter to improve engine reliability. For engines that need more than 600 CFM, you can pair multiple Vortex MAX units to increase airflow.
Maintenance
You can replace the internal filter every 1,000 hours or when the restriction gauge reaches its upper limit. Always install a new filter instead of cleaning the old one. You should also inspect the heavy-debris screen often, because severe dust can load it quickly. To keep airflow stable, check the wiring, fuse, and duct routing during routine service.
