Description
Product Overview
The Sy-Klone OF131 is an activated carbon odor filter designed to reduce airborne odors and gaseous contaminants inside enclosed operator cabins. It works as a supplemental filter in RESPA air quality systems and helps improve operator comfort in environments with strong odors, chemical vapors, fumes, or nuisance gases.
The filter uses activated carbon media to adsorb odor-producing molecules as air passes through the HVAC system. This helps reduce unpleasant smells that occur in waste-handling, landfill, agriculture, forestry, and industrial applications.
The OF131 is intended for use in machines that require odor control in addition to particulate filtration. It does not replace a primary dust filter but is used alongside fresh-air or recirculated-air filtration depending on cab configuration.

Applications & Fitment
The OF131 is used in machines requiring odor reduction inside sealed operator cabs. Typical environments include:
-
Waste and landfill operations
-
Agriculture
-
Compost and manure environments
-
Forestry
-
Industrial chemical or fume exposure areas
-
Construction sites with strong odor sources
It installs in compatible odor-filter locations within RESPA or HVAC systems where activated carbon filtration is required.
Maintenance
Replace the odor filter based on odor return, airflow resistance, or scheduled service intervals. Activated carbon efficiency decreases as media becomes saturated. For best results, pair the odor filter with clean fresh-air and recirculation particulate filters.
