Description

The BTRAC 74R5097 A/C Accumulator helps protect mobile air conditioning systems by controlling refrigerant flow before it returns to the compressor. It separates liquid refrigerant from vapor and captures moisture. As a result, it helps reduce compressor damage and supports consistent A/C performance.

This accumulator uses pad-mount inlet and outlet connections with 1-1/4″ UNF threads, which allow direct installation into IHC / Navistar HVAC systems designed around manifold-style connections. Because both ports share the same mounting style, installation remains clean and secure.

In addition, the unit includes a dedicated switch port with M12 × 1.5 threads. This feature allows the use of pressure or control switches required by the system. Therefore, the 74R5097 supports both refrigerant management and system monitoring in one compact assembly.
