Description

The BTRAC 74R1956 Inline Receiver Drier protects mobile air conditioning systems by removing moisture and debris from the refrigerant circuit. As a result, it helps prevent internal corrosion, maintain steady cooling, and extend compressor life in demanding operating environments.

This receiver drier uses an inline configuration with #6 male O-ring fittings, which allows clean integration into common mobile A/C hose layouts. In addition, the unit includes a factory-installed Trinary™ switch mounted on the side, which supports compressor control and system safety by monitoring pressure conditions during operation.

The cylindrical body measures 2-3/4 inches in diameter and 9-5/8 inches in overall length. Therefore, it provides increased desiccant volume while maintaining a compact footprint. At the same time, the side pressure-relief feature adds an extra layer of protection during high-load or high-pressure events.
